What I Did: Research, Graphic Design, Illustration, and Photography
What I Used: Illustrator, Photoshop, and Procreate

The Georgia State University Library houses many nonfiction books, some of which hardly are checked out or read. In collaborating with the library, my professor devised a plan to bring life to these forgotten titles: get her students to make cool book covers for them! I was given three random titles that had something or other to do with children, families, and communication. With this in mind, I decided to take a conceptual approach to my illustrative covers and a more literal approach to my photographic covers.
My Biggest Hurdle:
The most challenging part of this project for me was the construction! Along with the random titles, my professor also gave us three random physical books to use as props for our prints — ALL with different dimensions. The amount of math and reconfiguring needed for the final physical presentation was crazy... but so worth it!
